Bank account and Aadhaar Card
The government has not only made Aadhaar card a compulsory document requirement in banking activities but also to link the Aadhaar cards with the respective bank accounts. Financial institutions are also bound to deactivate such accounts which still not have been linked with Aadhaar cards, which might be one of the reasons affecting your personal loan approval process, financial proceedings, etc. Individuals were given the option of linking their bank accounts and Aadhaar card UID online as well as offline.
The Aadhaar card UID has also been made mandatory to progress with any bank/financial proceeding, be it opening a bank account or availing a personal loan, credit card, etc. It happens to be the most essential among KYC (Know Your Customer) documents. Availing any financial product or services from a financial institution is a lot simpler if you already have your Aadhaar card ready.
The UIDAI has also launched the mAadhaar app for mobile users, which enables them to carry their unique identification profile at all times. The app also has a feature of Aadhaar card download online. The individual thus need not carry a hard copy of the document every time. The e-Aadhaar can substantiate on such instances.
